Career: Dipl.-Ing:General mechanical engineering(TUM/technical university Munich). 1963: Start of profession at MBB(Ottobrunn). 1963-1971:Helicopter design,development and certification(Bo 105). 1971-1975:Design and dev. of combat ac(Tornado). 1975:Program manager (Tornado). 1979:Senior VP development of combat ac(Tornado IOC, concepts and technologies for Eurofighter). 1981-1990:Senior VP helicopter development(BK 117, Bo 108, Tiger, NH 90, ALH, Bo 105 VBH and PAH-1). 1991:President and GM space transportation division(Hermes, Sänger, different satellites). 1993-1998:COO for AI (Toulouse). 1998-2002:Board member of DLR (Cologne). 2002-2004:President of DHV(german helicopter association). Since 1992 honorary professor for helicopter design and technology(TUM). Now consultant.
